  • Migraines

A benevolent headache lasting four to 72 hours, has a recurring pulsating nature moderate to severe pain, most commonly in the head, which exacerbates physical activity. We recognize it with the following symptoms: neck and head muscle tension for a prolonged period of time, a feeling of tightness around the head, painful head area sensitive to pressure, continuous pain that is not pulsating, and the pains most commonly appear in the blind and blind spots.

  • Cluster headaches

Relatively rare form of headache, but is considered to be the best. It occurs in cyclical periods or groups, which is why it is named. The attacks occur in cycles of 15 days to three months, at certain times of the year, most often in spring and autumn. Between two attacks a cluster headaches can take months or years. Initially, seizures occur every other day, then every day. There may be several different headaches per day.

Most commonly, one attack per day lasts between 30 minutes and three hours. It is characteristic that seizures always occur at the same time of day or night and that, unlike migraine, people with cluster headaches enjoy movement. Pain is most common in the area of ​​the forehead, behind the eye or in the area of ​​the temples; it is localized on one side of the head, does not spread to the other half nor changes the side. Cluster headaches are typically accompanied by symptoms that arise as a result of the activation of the autonomic nervous system and are present on the side of the head with pain (redness and tenderness, lowering and swelling of the eyelid, nostrils and nasal congestion, sweating of the forehead and face). This headache is five times more common in men.

Treatment of headache

  • Massage your head

If you want your headache to go away quickly try massaging the area that hurts with your fingers.
