Orange is called the „naranja“ in India. This word is usually translated into English in the form of norange, and over time the name has passed into a more accepted form „orange“.
It is less known that orange is a subtropical plant from the Rutaceae family, Citrus genus. India and China are considered to be the home countries of orange. Orange is an evergreen tree whcih grows up to 12 m, on average, yields around 100 years, annually averages about 500 fruits and can live up to 500 years.
The flowers are white and fragrant, and the fruit is tasty and juicy, divided into slices, with a yellowish or reddish color. With grapes and bananas, it is considered the most fertile fruit, and the fruits grow from November to May. It works in hot climates, so it is cultivated most in the Mediterranean, South Africa and California.
Besides being pretty on the eye, this gorgeous fruit is extremely tasty and healthy. It is no wonder we all drink orange juice regularly, because an orange can give your body so many beneficial properties that it is almost incomparable to other fruits.

Seeds in Oranges
If you ever had an orange, you probably noticed that some of them have seeds and others don’t. Sometimes you stumble upon these seeds while eating and other times there is no need to take the seeds out because there is not any in your orange.
Some oranges have seeds and some don’t. The reason behind this phenomenon is often in many other fruits, and this is not an indicator that something is wrong with an orange without seeds. Oranges in use today
Orange is consumed fresh, like dessert, a supplement of fruit salads and as a juice. Bees that fertilize orange blossom can give honey, which naturally has a mild orange flavor. Early orange is a rich source of pectin that is extracted and used to thicken gels (e.g. getting marmalades). From the bark pressing orange oil is obtained and used for conditioning wooden furniture and together with other oils from citrus to remove greasy stains and hand wash.
Orange blossom is traditionally associated with good luck and in some countries popular as a wedding bouquet ornament. Rosewater is also made from the orange petal flower.

Orange is a subtropical plant and requires a temperature between 20 and 40 ° C to grow perfectly. There are hundreds of varieties of orange, and their taste and aroma are not only dependent on the climates on which they grow, but also on the world of fields in which the stems are planted.

In conclusion, oranges can have seeds but this is not a rule. Some sorts have them and others don’t, which depends on the orange itself. Not having seeds is not any particular indicator about the health of an orange, they are simply there or not these.
These seeds are perfectly safe for eating and you can always safely eat them together with the fruit. If you really don’t like the seeds you can remove them since they are large and easily removable from the fruit itself.
